Hey guys! Fitness Should Be Fun!

4/16/2008 it has been a week today since my surgery and all went well..I have had 2 physical therapy's and it is looking good..my Dr. said wound is healing well and I should be back in the gym in 4 weeks..SWEET!!! cant wait to start weight training again..

Hey...nice to hear you are ready to get pumped, but don't forget the long-term. Frustration is to be expected right now, but mass is something you can regain anytime. The doc is right, don't over-do it too soon, to avoid chronic problems. Ask about exercises that work the chest and the upper arms that don't require use of your hands and forearms. Some machines might be good in this regard..like a chest flies machine that allows you to work the pecs by squeezing the bent elbows together rather than a straight arm and hand grip.

I have been trying to keep up..my doctor told me not to get into it too fast...i am getting a little frustrated..i am loosing size..trying to stay positive

I'm glad to hear things are going well. Are you able to keep up with any lower body work, using machines, for example?
