On the road to fitness nothing motivates us more than to hear that others have overcome the same obstacles we face. Sharing is caring. But many stories remain untold because our own humility gets in the way. We often don't realize that our own accomplishments, and the way we went about achieving them, are worth telling.
It doesn't have to be a long article (although that's fine too). Just:
Tell us what your idea of fitness fun is, or
Describe how you started to workout and what motivated you.
What single, specific hint or tip (an elephant bite) works for you.
Post "before and after" photos, if you have them.
Mention resources you have found useful.
Etc, etc.
You get the idea.
I know from talking to some ItsGottaBeFun members that they really do have valuable experiences to share ... and others I know who would be encouraged by those experiences.
So take a few minutes and tell us your fitness accomplishments no matter how insignificant you may feel they are. You can do that easily by adding a blog entry. (Just click "My Blog" on your page, then click "Add new blog post" at the top of the column.) Or start a forum discussion.
I understand that shyness or privacy issues can also be a barrier to penning a blog or offering a comment. If you have something to say but would rather remain anonymous, simply send me a private message (I'm Bruce, creator of the ItsGottaBeFun Fitness Social Network) and I'll feature your story (with no names) in a future post.
So, if you care to share ... then share to show you care. Gentlemen, start your keyboards!
Cheers,
Bruce
